Last night we went to the mall and ate at a taco joint. Nathan loves tacos!!!!

Being a clown in Mexico is an art form. There are lots of clowns, and the ones that stand out are really good. Here’s a little clip of a clown show in Chapultepec park.

Here are some random clips from Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico.
The big mountain is Cerro del Cubilete, considered to be the geographical center of the country of Mexico. It’s a volcano with a giant statue of Jesus on the top of it.
The green beans you see are roasted garbanzo beans. They weren’t too bad…served with salsa, of course.
The lady you see cooking is Doña Lola.
At the end of our workshop, we gave them time to create a rap about some of the things we covered. It’s funny to see Baptist kids rap, especially in this traditional part of Mexico.

I’m in Silao, Guanajuato for the weekend, and tonight, we went to eat at La Casa de Doña Lola. Basically, it’s a lady’s house who cooks food for people.
We’re here for a youth camp, and tonight we took the night off and walked around the little town of Silao. There was a fair going on, so the atmosphere was really festive. Little Mexican pueblitos are pretty cool.
