A bunch of missionaries in Mexico City went on a retreat to Ixtapan de La Sal this past weekend. It is always good to get out of the city and into some fresh air. It’s also pretty fun to hang out with other “gringos.”
The place we stayed in was nice, and they have huge Poinsietta bushes there. We also found a white rose bush.

Walmart is running a Christmas special on pictures. We paid 55 pesos (about $5 US) for some pictures today. The lady was really nice, but Nathan wasn’t cooperating too much. He had just woken up for a nap, so who could blame him for not wanting to smile too much. The shot we decided to keep turned out pretty well, though. Unfortunately, we don’t get the actual pictures until December 22.
