The Play of the Game

I wanted to show you the play of the game on Sunday night in Mexico City. The entire pre-game show, the Arizona Cardinals were being booed. They had just cut a Mexican player from the active roster, and the crowd was against them. They were booing the mascot and players (not the cheerleaderss). But, in a great culturally relevant move, in the introductions, the Arizona Cardinals ran out on the field with a Mexican flag, and the place went nuts. It was a great way to turn the crowd to your side. Thanks to Mefeedia.com, you can watch it here. It may take a while to play…be patient!

Missionaries who videoblog

I found this post about missionaries who are videoblogging. It includes this vlog and others. Since we live so far away from home, it is pretty obvious that videoblogging is a great way to share with people back home about our life. The interesting thing is that I think more people who don’t know us personally watch the movies here than people who do know us. So, it’s been a great way to meet new people, too. I’m glad that this tool is available. Plus, it’s so fun and addicting.

Football game on October 2

Here’s the video I shot at the football game on October 2, 2005, in Mexico City. The game was played at Estadio Azteca as the first regular season NFL game outside the US. It was awesome to be a part of the excitement of the crowd (almost 104,000 people). The atmosphere was great. The stadium was great. The game turned out to be pretty good, too. I tried to get a lot of video. I hope you can get part of the experience of a fan from this video.
