One of the hard things about living in another country is being away from our family. Today is Janell’s dad’s birthday. Nathan calls him Pop Pop. We thought we would send him a little birthday video. Happy birthday, Pop Pop. We hope you have a great day. See you soon.
Sunday is Grandma’s birthday, so we made this version of the Happy Birthday video, too.
Those who know me know that I like to carve pumpkins for halloween. I have no idea why. Maybe it takes me back to my childhood. I’m not sure. I don’t remember carving them during my childhood.
It might have something to do with my love for this time of the year. I love the change in the weather, the World Series, watching “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, eating pumpkin seeds, drinking hot chocolate, and waiting for Thanksgiving. I guess, to me, the carving of the pumpking symbolizes the beginning of the holiday season.
This year, I chose a nicer design than last year, plus I vlogged it.
