Nathan’s new sunglasses

We’re in Naples for a meeting with the youth missions team at First Baptist Naples that will be going to Mexico in July, so we thought we’d spend some time today shopping at one of the outlet malls around here. We found Nathan some cool sunglasses, and I couldn’t help putting up a video of it. I’ll try to take more video of Naples and the group tomorrow.

Update: No such luck with video of Naples or the group. There wasn’t any time.

Conversation with Nathan – Part 1

Our 7 week old Nathan sure has changed our life. For starters, we sleep a lot less and have very little spare money. Seriously, though, I have a lot of thoughts in my head about fatherhood, sonship, and this developing relationship between Nathan and me. This video really doesn’t say that much about those thoughts, but it’s a beginning. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more in the future.

Feeding Time

Nathan has been eating ever since he arrived. Every three hours (sometimes only 2), we go through the same ritual. He does certain things to let us know it’s feeding time. He can go from peaceful to screaming in less than 2 minutes. No wonder he’s gained almost 4 pounds in 6 weeks.
