Dad Day

A tribute to fathers’ day, showcasing both Dennis’s dad and Janell’s dad with Nathan. We had a barbeque at Janell’s dad’s house, and Dennis’s dad came over, too. So, Nathan had the chance to see both of them on Fathers’ Day.

Fathers Day Pool Time

We had a Father’s Day barbeque at Janell’s dad’s house. Nathan and I went swimming. It was his first time in a pool. We had a great time. Unfortunately, the video camera was set on a low light setting, so the video was sort of washed out. Either way, I wanted to share this moment with you.

Nathan’s new sunglasses

We’re in Naples for a meeting with the youth missions team at First Baptist Naples that will be going to Mexico in July, so we thought we’d spend some time today shopping at one of the outlet malls around here. We found Nathan some cool sunglasses, and I couldn’t help putting up a video of it. I’ll try to take more video of Naples and the group tomorrow.

Update: No such luck with video of Naples or the group. There wasn’t any time.

Conversation with Nathan - Part 1

Our 7 week old Nathan sure has changed our life. For starters, we sleep a lot less and have very little spare money. Seriously, though, I have a lot of thoughts in my head about fatherhood, sonship, and this developing relationship between Nathan and me. This video really doesn’t say that much about those thoughts, but it’s a beginning. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more in the future.
