It’s Mother’s Day! So I took some time to make this video of the boys talking about their mom and what they love about her.
This is probably one of my favorite videos I’ve ever done.

I absolutely can’t believe that Nathan turned SEVEN last week. He has grown into a sweet little boy, and I am amazed everyday at how smart he is. (Remember this video of his birth?)

We had his party last Saturday with some friends, so of course I made a video of it. He still doesn’t like it when you sing to him, but that’s something you have to do at a birthday party.

Xochimilco is one of my favorite places in Mexico City. It has music, food, culture, nature, color and serenity all in one place. The boats (trajineras) are vibrant, the flowers are beautiful, and the atmosphere makes it a must visit for anyone going to Mexico City.

As I’ve already written, we went to Xochimilco (pronounced So-Chee-Milk-Oh) last week. I’ve already posted a video of Mariachis there.
Basically, you get on a large, flat, covered boat with your group. There’s a table in the middle where you can eat. You pay to go down the canal, and while you’re on the canal, there are lots of things you can do.
You can stop and go to a restaurant. You can order food from the floating vendors. Or you can pay mariachis to play or listen to marimba music. You can also stop on the side and shop for plants and flowers.
It’s a lot of fun. Check out the video. If you can’t see it in this post, check it out by clicking here.
I made this video back in June of 2006 and posted to our vlog. It’s a mix of Google Earth and video I’ve shot all over Mexico City. Hopefully, it will give you an idea of what Mexico City and our life here is like.

I thought it was hilarious how the Looney Toons were singing yesterday when we went to their show at Six Flags in Mexico.
I’ve never hear Bugs Bunny sing with a Spanish accent. It was pretty fun.
If you can’t see it here, you can check out the video on Youtube. (I thought it was appropriate to post to Youtube.)
