Ways to Support Missions Doing Things You Already Do

Do you know you can help support our ministry financially by doing things you do everyday? Listed below are all the easy things that you can do to help support our ministry!

Do you ever shop online? If so there are MANY ways you can help us earn extra income without doing things much differently

Affiliate Links – If you shop through these links we earn a small percentage of your purchase.

Photo Sites

For online shopping at other stores join Ebates or Shop at Home. We both get $5 when you join and make a purchase. You will also earn a small percentage of your purchase that will be paid back to you every few months via PayPal or check.

If you print coupons from Coupons.com we earn a few cents for every coupon you print.

Search & Win Swagbucks – This is a search engine just like Google. You use it and earn Swagbucks that you redeem for great stuff! We get the first 100 Swagbucks that you earn. We like to redeem 45 Swagbucks for a $5 gift card to use at Amazon.com. Click here to read more about Swagbucks – there are many ways to earn Swagbucks!

Google Ads - On our blogs there are Goggle Ads. If you see something you like click the ad to read more. We do not get to pick the ads that are shown.

Banner Ads – On our blogs you will see banner ads. I get to pick the ads that are shown on our blogs. I only put up ads for legit companies, stuff I have signed up for. This is a great way to help us generate more income. These ads pay from .20 cents up to $23 when people join. I would suggest creating an alternate email address when signing up for these offers because they send out newsletter and it may get to be a little much in your personal email account.

Join our Team – Update

A few weeks ago, we asked you to consider joining our team of financial supporters. Remember that?

Well, it just dawned on me that I have been so busy with the end of the school year that I haven’t told you what happened.

We didn’t reach the goal of $500 in monthly support, but some of you did respond, and we received pledges for $100 more per month. We appreciate those of you who joined our team of financial supporters.

We also received an anonymous donation of $1200. Whoever that was, we thank you for your gift to the ministry.

Raising support for ministry is always a step of faith. We thank God that we have such a good team. If you forgot about it, you can still get on board and be part of what God is doing in Latin America.

Our family is supported by the generous donations of a team of individuals and churches. We are blessed to have a good team of faithful financial supporters. The reality is that our monthly support has been the same for the last 6 years (even dropping a little), before the arrival of our two children and the rise of ministry expenses and cost of living.

God has always provided for our family. We have no doubt that he will continue providing for us.

For the next few weeks we will be asking you to consider supporting our family and ministry, with the goal of raising another $500 in monthly donations by June 10, 2009.

Each day we will be posting new information about our family and ministry, hoping to help you get a better understand of what we do.

Creatively Supporting Missions

We recently received a donation from a friend of ours who had never donated to the ministry before but we know has a heart for missions and has wanted to support us.

I wrote an email thanking the person for the donation, and they told me that it had come from selling M&Ms to everyone at work.

I was surprised to hear that. What a great idea! I love it when people are creative and look for ways to be involved in what God is doing regardless of personal circumstances!

We greatly appreciate every donation that is sent in to help support and extend the ministry in Latin America. We know that the markets are down and the economy is bad. But there are many people who have stood beside us from the beginning and have continued to stand with us and contribute to this ministry. Thanks!
