You know you live in a foreign country when you can go to McDonald’s on your day off at 11:00 AM to eat BREAKFAST. I had an egg and chorizo burrito (another benefit of living in a foreign country.) Later, we went to our version of a dollar store called Waldo’s Mart. They import a lot of stuff from the US, and it’s cheap, so it’s a good place to shop. Then we went grocery shopping at Costco. We got to watch part of the Yankees and Red Sox game, and now, we’re watching the Florida and the Alabama football game. It’s been a good time off.
Here’s some audio of Nathan laughing today.

Today we went downtown with our lawyer to get Nathan’s visa. You have to get your pictures taken at this place with a really, really, old camera. They are identification pictures, so they look like mug shots. Here are the ones that we got for Nathan. They look hilarious. He was sleeping, so we had to wake him up to get the pictures taken. Luckily, he’s always in a good mood when he wakes up.
Saturday evening, at our church, we are having a party at our church to watch the Mexican national soccer team play against the USA national team. The winner of the game gets into the World Cup tournament that will take place in Germany next year. Both teams will probably get in to the tournament, so it’s not that important, but it is important for bragging rights. It should be fun to watch on the big screen. You can tell by the picture who I want to win.
