Here is a quick audio file of a ministry report we gave at Gulf Coast Fellowship on January 10, 2010, about our ministry highlights in 2009.
If you’re interested in what God is has done, be sure to listen to it.
In March, David Boyter came to the seminary to give a conference on Biblical Storytelling. I really enjoyed the conference, and I thought I could use it in my classes in the future. If you understand Spanish, it’s worth checking out. It reenforces a lot of what I believe about preaching and teaching.
On May 5th, we had our first ever Youth Emphasis Chapel at the seminary. We invited Nahum Leon, a friend of Tim and Annette Gulick to speak about the necessity of youth ministry to the students and faculty at the seminary. If you speak Spanish, here is the MP3 of his conference. Nahum also shared in my youth ministry class, and we had a great time with him. He is a student and graphic designer, working on his Masters in Education and also working with paralideres.org.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many “Youth Emphasis” events we will have at the seminary. I am hoping to have a Youth Emphasis Week sometime next year, probably in October.

So, I set up a birthday hotline for the family using K7.net. I asked them to call in and leave a message for Nathan, wishing him a happy birthday today. Here’s what we got so far. If you want to add yourself to the list, let us know by commenting on this post.

Nathan was a little talkative tonight, so we used the Packet8 phone to call up audioblogger.com so we could post some audio clips of him for your listening pleasure. Just click below to hear him.
Oh…there’s a new video of him over on the vlog, too.
