I think most of the people who read this through a feed reader or online should be able to respond to this, but I’m looking for suggestions for good commentaries on the gospel of John. Got any suggestions? Leave a comment. Thanks.

I can only find one commentary in my office (thought I had more) and its from the Tyndale NT series. by RVG Tasker

The Bible Knowledge Commentary New Testament Edition
I use the Expositor’s Bible Commentary and Tyndale Commentaries most. Though I have been eyeballing my pastor’s McArthur series lately.
I sent a separate email answering your probe but to summarize: F.F. Bruce (The Gospel and Epistles of John). D.A. Carson (Pillar New Testament Commentary). I also like the little (likely out of print devotional by John Mitchell; founder of Multnomah School of the Bible) entiteld, An Everlasting Love.
