Church and State – Part 1
Here’s a case study I had when I was studying a class on Principles of the Christian Life at Columbia Biblical Seminary in South Carolina. I am publishing it here because of some recent discussion I have had with some people about the separation of church and state and the role of religion in politics. Looking for stories
I’m teaching a seminary class on camps this January in Cuba, and part of the pre-class assignments for the students is to talk about their personal experiences as well as the experiences of others with camping as it relates to their spiritual life, their calling, and the commitment.

Ice Skating in Mexico City
The Mexico City government has gotten into the Christmas spirit this year by installing a gigantic ice skating rink in downtown Mexico City.
They have invested lots of money in the rink, causing quite a controversy, but providing citizens with a fun activity. As you can see by the picture, the rink can accommodate a lot of people. I read somewhere that there are 1600 pairs of skates available for use at the rink.
I can’t wait to see this in person. It’s a great idea, in my opinion. We’ll probably go on a weekday when there’s less of a chance of there being a big crowd.
Looking for churches in Florida
