This morning at church the pastor asked me to translate for him because he wanted to say goodbye to a lady who was going to return to Mexico City to live.
After the service, I asked her where she was going to live in Mexico City. She asked if I had heard of Lomas Verdes. That’s the city we live in. It turns out that she and her family will be living in the neighborhood right down the street from us.
I’m looking forward to being able to help out her grandson who will be living with them. He’s 10 years old and his dad died about a year and a half ago. I hope we get a chance to help them out. I don’t believe it was a coincidence that we met them.
