Almost no hope
Last night, the “Mi Esperanza” campaign was supposed to begin at 9 pm. We turned on the TV to the correct channel, and it was “The Simpsons.”
I was shocked. The website boasts of over 18,000 churches participating in the event. There has been talk of it all over the Evangelical community. But there we were, at 9 pm, with nothing. We waited. I called friends to see what was going on. And then, around 9:15, the TV switched to the program. Like many things here, it was going to start late. I still have no explanation for it, but it started. Hopefully tonight it will start on time.
